"Our family has been very blessed with SASC academy for our teens. It has helped improve our family life and form our children academically and spiritually.  We absolutely love the quality of the faculty and staff at SASC. As the beloved Latin teacher will put it, they are not there for the income but the outcome!! They are excellent educators. I've been able to watch my children grow in confidence and eagerness to learn from them. 

The hybrid model allows us to have better family life. We absolutely love this model and there will be no going back to 5 days a week for our teens.  The flexibility for them is wonderful. They own their own education. What a better way to prepare them for college life!! They have become so responsible and this model helps develop their executive functioning. It's a joy to be with them at home on their work days. Our extra time together as family is priceless!!

With the classical model, we love the incredible literature that the kids have been exposed to, the great discussions they share with us!! It enriches who they are and has given them better understanding of the human person. Since we (the parents) have attended non classical schools for our high school, we really see a difference in the formation. It is beautiful! They own their faith just like their work and are passionate about it.  It is incredible!!!"

"This is the first year we have been at SASC.  It has been such a positive experience and we feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to find this option for high school.  As a full time homeschooler since kindergarten, the hybrid model is perfect.  School on two to three days and home two to three days (depending on the week) for homework and projects.  

I cannot say enough about the Headmaster, Assistant Headmaster and all the teachers at SASC.  Each and every one are truly amazing.  They care deeply for the students and their success not only in academics but also spiritually.  They begin and end each school day with prayer and attend Mass before lunch.  I would highly recommend SASC to any homeschooling family."

"What we have at St. Athanasius and St. Catherine Academy is more than simply a high school. This hybrid approach to teaching, blending the high school experience with homeschooling produces students who are engaged, interested and learning. 

My job is to teach physical education for both the boys and girls. This is a learning discipline that blends in well with the rigorous classical education that the students receive. It provides them with a positive physical outlet to 'let off some steam' as well as get the benefits of a structured physical education program.

This is my third year teaching as the Academy. My observation is that this hybrid approach is the ideal form of education, allowing parents to teach and mold their children's lives along with the professional and caring education they receive from our teaching staff."
