Dr. Athanasia Worley

Dr. Athanasia L. J. Dollmetsh Worley holds a BA in Religious Studies from Bard College, an MA in Classics from Loyola University in Chicago, and a PhD in Classical Philology (Latin and Greek language and literature) from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. She has more than 40 years of teaching experience and her students have won hundreds of awards. She lives with her husband, Michael, in Overland Park, but the four children and four grandchildren are sprinkled from Shanghai to Denver. When not in the classroom, she can be seen spotting turtles outside on our trails, or inside singing soprano in various choirs.
