Susan Heppner received her Bachelor of Arts, History from Illinois Benedictine College (now Benedictine University) in Lisle, IL. Susan is a 20-year homeschool veteran, having taught her four children from 1st-12th grades, implementing the Kolbe curriculum during the high school years. As a former member of the Christ the King Co-op for numerous years, she has experience teaching a variety of grades and subjects, including Kolbe material. While history and literature are her first loves, Susan has surprised herself with her appreciation of the beauty and order of numbers. So, when SASC needed an Algebra I instructor, she decided to embark on a new adventure. As one who dreaded math in high school, Susan strives to create an engaging environment in which students are eager to master algebraic concepts.
